AlpWeek 2024: Alps in our hands
Which successes, initiatives and policies have influenced the sustainable development of the Alps in the last 20 years? How do we shape the next 20 years? Two decades after the first AlpWeek in Kranjska Gora/SI, the 8th edition will take place from 23.-25. September 2024 in Nova Gorica/SL. Together we are looking for ways of cooperation, project ideas and inspiration to shape the future of the Alps – because it is in our hands!
The programme focuses on the interlinkage of the three thematic areas of the Alpine Conference’s Multi-Annual Work Programme 2023-2030 – biodiversity and ecosystems, climate change, quality of life. You can expect inspiring lectures, interactive workshops, exciting panel discussions, cultural events, excursions to the surrounding area and a co-working space. Whether you were part of it 20 years ago or are a young person, whether you are a member of a non-profit organisation, a researcher, a civil servant, a politician or a resident of the Alps – we invite you to take part in the AlpWeek, to contribute your ideas and to celebrate the 20th anniversary with us!
